![]() ![]() When we use PowerPoint, we are constantly adjusting fonts, colors, styles, specialty features etc.ģ. SP Pro text transferring is very fast but because of the PowerPoint specialty features, we suspect this might not be the most efficient approach. This is an excellent utility but not our favorite approach because it requires a trigger command to begin your dictation, which even the Dragon Dictation Box does not require and you have to apply the additional step of transferring your text. You could transfer formatted text from Dragon's built-in sluggish Dictation Box (free) or Dilligence's third-party SP Pro Dictation Box-like utility. You could do the bulk of your work in Microsoft Word (which we know you have ) and copy your final work into PowerPoint. We occasionally use PowerPoint and as you know, it is a non-Dragon friendly environment. I'm just wondering if there's an easier way. Because the program doesn't seem dictation friendly, and requires a lot of arm-intensive things like text-box resizing, photo resizing, moving elements around, etc., what I've been doing is doing as much of the work as I can by dictating into a Microsoft Word document and then transferring it in bits and pieces into a Publisher file. ![]() I just started learning Publisher about three weeks ago to make a weekly publication for my church. Again, my apologies.)ĭoes anybody here use Microsoft Publisher routinely? Are there any add-ins that will make it more dictation-friendly? Anybody have any tips? Here it is again dictated this time directly into Mozilla Firefox. (Sorry everybody, I posted this earlier but had drafted it in Microsoft Word and copied and pasted it here – which appears to create technical problems with the forum, and nobody was able to respond.
